LIVE AT VERSAILLES,

WOODLAND HILLS?

STEP UP. ORGANIZE. LEAD

Versailles tenants deserve transparency, fair billing, safe housing, and power.

RECRUITING VOLUNTEER ORGANIZERS

Right now, a small group of residents have joined the Versailles Woodland Hills Tenants Association — and we need volunteer organizers.

This is your chance to:

  • Help neighbors who are being overcharged on their Conservice bills

  • Document patterns of corporate landlord abuse (Misleading advertising of amenities or apartment conditions, chronic repair delays, leaks and mold, maintenance neglect, unlawful eviction pressure, and inflated utility billing)

  • Knock on doors, meet your neighbors and build community

  • Develop real organizing & leadership skills

  • Receive media training and learn how to speak to press

  • Gain experience in grassroots campaign strategy

  • Be part of a citywide legislative campaign

You get to fight not only for your rights and the rights of tenants in your Versailles community —but be part of a much bigger movement in the Housing Justice Movement:

  • Challenging corporate landlords

  • Fighting inflated utility billing (RUBS)

  • Organizing tenants across Los Angeles

  • Building real tenant power

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED - TRAINING PROVIDED

In the past year, tenants just like you have stood up, organized their buildings, and helped shift the housing justice conversation across Los Angeles.
